The IntelliJ Platform is the shared foundation for JetBrains IDEs like WebStorm, PyCharm, GoLand, and Android Studio.

A large part of the IDE is open source, forming the basis of the IntelliJ Community Edition.

As engineering lead, my primary focus is on the Java integration. I have also worked on the Kotlin engine and UAST (Unified Abstract Syntax Tree), IntelliJ’s language-agnostic syntax tree abstraction that enables cross-language inspections and refactorings.
